Kineum is an award-winning project where design has been the overarching theme for both the exterior and interior. Without compromising on safety, the project demonstrates that it is possible to design and ensure security using Stålprofil’s various profile systems. The project includes fixed elements and fire doors in fire classes EI30 and EI60, for which we have supplied Stålprofil systems SP 76500 and SP 79000. Additionally, our profile systems were used for burglary-resistant doors in RC3, combined with fire and smoke tightness, providing a tested and approved solution.

Kineum is a new type of office building in Gothenburg’s classic industrial district of Gårda, just a stone’s throw from the city center. Inaugurated in November 2022, Kineum is a 110m tall building spread over 27 floors. It houses the Jacy’z hotel combined with office spaces, restaurants, a gym, and more. Kineum has also been nominated for the 2023 Building of the Year.
