With our fire-resistant steel profiles, finger trap gasket (SP 40067-2, SP 40072-2, and SP 40092-2) meets requirements for fire resistance up to EI60 and also smoke-tightness Sa and S200.
According to the standard for power-operated doors, EN 16005:2012 “Safety in Use,” the back edge should always be protected/secured.
In Boverkets byggregler section 8.3, “Protection Against Impact and Pinching,” it is stated under general advice that: Doors in schools and preschools, as well as entrance doors to residences, should have pinch protection.”
